Uma Sinha has over 20 years of experience in strategy, operations, performance improvement and deal due diligence in banking, PE / VC , big tech and management consulting. She has crafted and implemented multi-billion dollar growth strategies and pivots, partnerships and operations for 50+ multi-nationals and 75+ start-ups (pre-revenue to Series D) across 6 continents. She has also due-diligenced deals in FinTech, data/AI, cyber security, media, healthcare, energy and future of work. Uma has also worked intimately with executives, businesses, and functional teams of 5–200+ to structure, quantify and deliver solutions to accelerate revenue generation, upgrade and scale operations, and improve margins while training staff and enhancing culture.
Uma co-founded a FinTech company and an advisory firm. As Co-Founder, she has served as a fractional Chief Strategy Officer for a stealth VC, a fractional COO for two start-ups and served as a senior advisor for two boutique advisory firms. She is also currently working to modernize the cocoa industry in Ghana and Ivory Coast by leveraging technology and PE / VC resources.
Uma started her career as a consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton for over a decade before moving to HSBC to help develop and implement a strategy to revitalize the bank as a key executive. She received her Bachelors in English Literature and Political Science from Columbia University, a Masters in Public Administration from the Kennedy School at Harvard University, and a certification in Artificial Intelligence from MIT.
