Laura Korčulanin is a dedicated water steward, sustainability expert, and pioneering design anthropologist, currently focused on developing a groundbreaking water protection scheme through the development of the water protection scheme IK-WI-AI. With over 15 years of international experience as a consultant in impact innovation and sustainability, she champions the integration of life-centric approaches within diverse projects and business models City Hall Murska Sobota, City Hall Cascais, Sustainable Energy Youth Network, Spatial Innovation Network, Applied Anthropology Network, and Ironhack.

As the founder and CEO of Give a Shit, Laura blends advocacy and "artivism", having spearheaded campaigns, research, and projects under UN-Water initiatives and with organizations like We Are Water Foundation and Roca. Her innovative missions are informed by over 10 years of scientific and academic research, which culminated in the development of the water token scheme. In addition to her focus on water protection, Laura continues to contribute to academia as a visiting professor at Iberoamericana Mexico City.
Laura also coaches and mentors "ecopreneurs" within the Sustainable Ocean Alliance and acts as an advisor for Operation Water, where her expertise guides vital missions for planetary health regeneration. Her commitment extends to studying indigenous water ecologies, water consciousness-science, and ritualistic practices, offering water ceremonies to foster a deeper connection with our most precious resource.
Academically, Laura earned a bachelor's degree in Cultural Anthropology from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, an integrated MA and BA in Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology from the University of Ljubljana, and a Masterclass certificate in Circular Systems Design and Environmental Design and Architecture from The UnSchool of Disruptive Design. She has also pursued a PhD focused on Integrated Sanitation Solutions and Urban Water Management at IADE for six years, but has taken a hiatus from her studies to prioritize her career.
