Gonçalo Ferraz serves as the Operations Manager for the Mozambique Market Unit at Efacec, a Portuguese company with a proven track record spanning 75 years that provides integrated solutions in the fields of Energy and Mobility to promote the energy transition while creating value for its stakeholders. Gonçalo has lived and worked in Mozambique for Efacec since 2010, and has been responsible for the Energy Unit in Mozambique, managing the commercial and operational activities for Efacec's Renewable Energies and Substations, the Transmission and Distribution Division, and also as Project, Contract and Site Manager.
Prior to joining Efacec, Gonçalo served as Project Manager for Gaeltec Utilities Ltd, where he managed a wind farm and related substations for the Irish Utility. He has also served as Deputy Project Manager in the Energy Department for Tegael in Portugal, where started as a commissioning team member for Photovoltaic Power Plants and then became Project Manager for High Voltage substations.
Gonçalo received his Licentiate Degree in Electrotechnical Engineering and Computers with a focus on Energy Systems from the University of Coimbra in Portugal.
